On February 8th, Duane met with forty other Veterans on the mall in our nation's Capitol for a historic press conference. This first meeting of the Band of Brothers was the largest gathering of veterans as candidates for one political party since 1946.

Duane has called his stint in the navy the most influential experience of his professional life. In Washington, those sentiments were echoed by every member in attendance. Together, these "Fighting Dems" will speak with one voice on issues critical to our nation's security and show that no party has a monopoly on patriotism.
